ABOUT DR. MAGED HAGGAG

Dr. Maged Haggag completed medical school in Cairo, Egypt, and went on to train in pulmonary medicine and intensive care in Egypt before moving to Alberta. He completed his pulmonary medicine training at the University of Alberta in 2015. Since then, he has worked in several different facets of pulmonary medicine, including research, medical directorship for pulmonary function laboratories, as well as acute care work in Alberta Health Services’ South Zone. Dr. Haggag further pursued academia and completed his Master’s Degree and PhD at University of Calgary. He has since published research papers on Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Dr. Haggag’s clinical practice focuses on general pulmonary medicine, including Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Diseases and Lung Cancer.
